COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Traffic is being diverted off I-10 eastbound in Lake City after a fatal crash involving a tractor trailer.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 11:23 a.m. at mile marker 304 near the US 441/Lake City exit. They say traffic is back up on both the westbound and eastbound sides of I-10.
At least one person was killed in the crash involving a tractor trailer and passenger vehicle.
Right now, eastbound traffic is being diverted off the interstate at the US-441)/303 mile marker. Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
