CLEARWATER, Fla. — A Florida police department is warning drivers about a new Bluetooth-equipped skimmer they found at a 7-Eleven gas station.
The Clearwater Police Department found the skimmer hidden inside a pump at a 7-Eleven.
Clearwater Police says it allows suspects to sit nearby and get your card information without ever having to come back to the pump.
They recommend using a credit card instead of a debit card if you choose to pay at the pump. Another tip is to go inside and pay with your card or use cash.
