ORLANDO, Fla. — Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure opened Thursday morning at Universal Orlando and already has an hours-long projected wait time.
As of 11:30 a.m., the wait time is projected at eight hours. Earlier, local news outlets reported wait times stretching to 10 hours.
Park officials describe the attraction as a 'story coaster.' With Hagrid as the guide, riders will board magical motorbikes, with one rider on the motrocycle and the other in an adjacent sidecar. After boarding, riders fly far into the Forbidden Forest, coming close rare magical creatures.
According to WFTV, the more than 3-minute ride has seven launches and a 17-foot drop.
