COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — A 9-foot alligator was removed from a Florida bus stop where kids were waiting for their school bus nearby.
The Collier County Sheriff's office says that they were called to a residential area of Golden Gate city Thursday morning to deal with the 9-foot prehistoric reptile.
"Kids were waiting nearby at their bus stop, but we're pretty sure this critter wasn't heading to school," the sheriff's office wrote in a Facebook post.
Thankfully, no one was injured while the male alligator was captured and removed.
