TAMPA, Fla. (WTXL) — Police are urging people to pay attention to signs warning about alligators.
The Tampa Police Department posted four pictures on Facebook showing a sign that says “warning – alligators.” Ironically enough, a large gator can be seen sitting right underneath the sign.
Thankfully, a trapper was able to capture the "very large, and very angry alligator" before anything bad could happen.
Police stress that the warning signs are there for a reason and say people should be cautious if they ever encounter an alligator in the wild.
