(WTXL) — The resident commissioner of Puerto Rico along with two Florida senators are urging President Donald Trump to approve Puerto Rico's recent declaration of disaster.
Jenniffer González-Colón, resident commissioner of Puerto Rico, along with Florida Senators Rick Scott and Marco Rubio, sent a letter to to President Trump requesting a disaster declaration for Puerto Rico.
González-Colón would allow relevant federal agencies to promptly provide necessary aid to the Island.
