TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida House of Representatives have officially called for a special session regarding their response to the COVID-19 crises.
In a letter, representatives wrote " The special session, which shall convene virtually or after the Center for Disease Control (CDC) deems gatherings of over 100+ appropriate, is necessary so that the Legislature may consider legislative proposals in response to the COVID-19 public health crisis."
The House is looking for a vote from lawmakers on major things that have been impacted during the crises such as unemployment, medicaid and elections.
