(WTXL) — Hurricane Dorian evacuees in the Bahamas can get a free ride back to the United States on a Florida cruise ship.
The Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line out of Deerfield Beach, Florida, is packing up a ship called Grand Celebration on Thursday with food, water, and other supplies, as well as first responders and volunteers.
The cruise line said any Bahamian residents trying to get from South Florida back to the Bahamas are allowed to travel on-board for free. Passengers must have a valid passport or an original birth certificate to get on the vessel.
The cruise ship will return to the Port of Palm Beach on Sept. 7 with Bahamian residents who wish to evacuate to the U.S. and have proper documentation.
