FDLE: USAF officer stationed in Pensacola found with child pornography

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WTXL) — An active duty United States Air Force Officer stationed in Pensacola has been arrested after being found with child pornography depicting kids under the age of 10.

Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested John Morgan, 29, on Tuesday.

The investigation began in August after an agent identified images and videos of child pornography being downloaded and shared from a residential computer. The images depicted children under the age of 10.

Morgan is facing two counts of possession of obscene material. He was taken to the Escambia County Jail.

Morgan is an active duty United States Air Force Officer stationed in Pensacola.

The Office of the State Attorney, 1st Judicial Circuit will prosecute this case.
