NAVARRE BEACH, Fla. (WTXL) — Beachgoers got a chance to see more than just sun and sand on Tuesday, when a giant hammerhead shark was spotted swimming near shore in Navarre Beach.
According to the Navarre Beach Fire Rescue, the shark was spotted on Tuesday at Navarre Beach near Pensacola.
The Navarre Beach Fire Rescue posted photos to Facebook of an approximate 13-foot hammerhead shark.
"Approximate 13 foot Hammerhead shark swimming just off our beach today!" reads the caption.
The post has been shared over 4,000 times in less than two days.
