TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The 44th Civil Support Team conducted a training exercise at Florida A&M University Thursday.
Officials say it is all apart of their mission to support the civilian authorities in the event of a terrorist act.
Thursday, they had simulated weapons of mass destruction lab set up to allow trainees the chance to learn how to handle one of these situations.
The support team is one of two Florida National Guard's full time response teams for emergencies, natural disasters, or terrorist events.
