ORLANDO, FL. (AP) - Police say a central Florida man shot and killed his teenage brother after apparently mistaking him for an intruder.
The wife of the 32-year-old Orange County man dialed 911 after they heard a noise around 11:30 p.m. Friday. The man grabbed his semi-automatic handgun and fired when he was someone in the kitchen.
As soon as he realized his mistake and that his 17-year-old brother had been shot, he began performing CPR.
The Orlando Sentinel reports the teen was pronounced dead about an hour later. Neither man has been identified.
