JACKSONVILLE, FL (RNN) - A Florida man who thought he was overcharged for chicken shot a Popeye’s employee in the leg.
The police said the angry suspect drove off from the drive-through window, stopped his car in front of the restaurant, walked inside and punched the victim in the face. Then he shot the guy.
The victim’s aunt sounded off about the incident.
"Then need to put his dumb behind in jail and let him pay for it there. Because that’s the stupidest mess! He must have been on something," she said.
The customer fled the scene, and police are still looking for him.
The victim’s mom said he was in the hospital, according to the Florida Oracle.
