Florida Man Sentenced to 30 Years for Shooting Neighbor

NAPLES, Fla. (AP) - A southwest Florida man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for fatally shooting his neighbor.

As part of a deal with Collier County prosecutors, 62-year-old Robert Moulton pleaded no contest Thursday to second-degree murder.

Authorities say Moulton killed 41-year-old Sergey Chepchugov in May 2014 following a long-running feud between the Naples neighbors. Video from a security camera shows the two men arguing about Moulton's dog shortly before the shooting. The Naples Daily News reports that the recording also catches audio of Moulton admitting to his wife that he killed Chepchugov.

Moulton's wife, Deborah, is also facing a second-degree murder charge, but she was recently deemed incompetent to proceed to trial.
