THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) - A man wanted in numerous states including Georgia is now behind bars after turning himself in.
Thomas County Investigators said Charles Jenkins called the sheriff's office on Monday from the local bus station and told a deputy to come get him.
Investigators said that back in May they received a complaint from a man who said he bought a car on eBay from Jenkins.
The man said he paid $10,000 for the car and never received it.
"He made it very easy for us, it's not very common people will come turn themselves in especially from South Florida," explained Tim Watkins, a TCSO Investigator.
Jenkins is being held in the Thomas County jail on charges of theft by deception.
He is also wanted for the same crime in West Virginia.
