VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)--A Florida man is arrested in Valdosta after a late night break-in at the Citgo Quick Mart on North St. Augustine Road.
Police say 57-year old Sidney Allen Smith of Crystal River, broke into the business by shattering the front door.
They say Smith rifled through several cabinets and drawers before he fled to a wooded area behind the business.
Valdosta Police say Smith was identified and located with the help of the residents. Smith is now in the Lowndes County Jail, charged with burglary.
