MONTICELLO, Fla. (WTXL)--The Florida Highway Patrol is honoring one of its troopers killed in the line of deputy with a memorial.
Next week a part of Interstate 10 will be called the Trooper James Herbert Fulford, Jr. Memorial Highway.
The designated area is between mile marker 232 and 233 in Jefferson county.
Fulford was killed when a bomb exploded as he searched a car on February 1, 1992.
Paul Augustus Howell was executed in February of this year for Fulford's murder.
