TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A new education center will help better train your healthcare providers.
The Florida Health Care Association cut the ribbon on a new education and training center in downtown Tallahassee on Tuesday.
The large indoor/outdoor space will help hundreds in the skilled nursing field learn new skills with seminars and regional trainings.
But this space isn't just for the public.
"This will be available to other associations, corporations," said Emmett Reed, executive director of the Florida Health Care Association. "We've already had people ask us if they can use it for their wedding, holiday parties. It will be available. It's an incredibly unique space, there's nothing like it in downtown Tallahassee."
It took ten years of planning, two years of construction, and $3 million to make the vision a reality.
