TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The newest Democrat to enter the race for governor is leaving his hometown in South Florida to hit the campaign trail in other parts of the Sunshine State.
Throughout the day, democratic governor candidate Phillip Levine made his rounds through North Florida.
Miami mayor Levine started his trip in Jacksonville, making his next stop in the capitol city to meet with Florida democratic chairwoman Terrie Rizzo. Levine, a harsh critic of President Donald Trump, reinforced his stance on being strong against climate change and fighting for education.
Levine's final stop is in Pensacola Wednesday night.
