(WTXL) Tallahassee, Fla. - A coalition of leading businesses including the partnership for a New American Economy, Business Roundtable, the American Farm Bureau Federation, and others launched a day of action for immigration reform today with a national press conference in Washington D.C.
As a part of this nationwide push, several Florida groups gathered today asking for a statewide immigration reform. Florida business, education, and faith leaders held a news conference highlighting the importance of immigration reform.The news conference was held at the Florida Press Center on East College Avenue earlier this morning.
