NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Florida man was arrested after he allegedly raped a 15-year-old while playing Grand Theft Auto, leaving his microphone on for other gamers to hear.
WFTS reports that 18-year-old Daniel Enrique Fabian, 18, was arrested on Wednesday, though the incident occurred on June 28.
While playing Grand Theft Auto with another person on his PlayStation 4, a police report says Fabian told the other gamer that he was going to take a break to "smash" the 15-year-old victim.
However, Fabian's microphone was still on and the other gamer could hear the victim moaning and saying "no." According to WFTS, the victim told Fabian to stop four different times, but he continued to have sex with the victim.
After about 15 minutes, Fabian went back to play the online game.
Later, an exam was done on the 15-year-old victim, which corroborated with the account of sexual abuse. Fabian was arrested and booked into the Land O' Lakes Detention Center.
