TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is inviting the public to start the new year off by participating in the First Day Hikes this Thursday.
On new year's day, they are offering free, guided hikes to visitors. The hikes will be led by park staff and volunteers, who will provide educational commentary along the way.
This year there will be more than 30 events throughout the state.
