Lafayette County, FL. (WTXL) - An investigation is underway into the crash of a Florida Department of Corrections vehicle.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, A prison transport van was traveling West on U.S Highway 27 Tuesday when it rammed into the back of a silver Isuzu pickup.
No serious injuries were reported. However, the driver of the pickup was taken to Lake City Medical Center with minor injuries. Passengers from the prison transport were taken to U.F. Health in Live Oak where they were treated and released.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
