(WTXL) FLA. - A man travels from Texas to shoot a Florida couple on Christmas Day.
FHP says 23-year-old Preston Pollard was driving west on Interstate 10 near Okaloosa county in the florida panhandle before he pulled off and shot himself. Troopers attempted to pull over Pollard, when they say his car exited the interstate and crashed.
Pollard entered a home in Marion County and shot and killed 36-year-old Richard Hutson. 55 year old Mary Lou Hutson was also shot. She's currently critical condition. Several children were in the house at the time of the shooting, but were not harmed. Investigators believe Pollard may have been the ex-boyfriend of the 18-year-old living in the house.
