ORLANDO, Fla. -- Florida cities continue to lead the nation in all-cash real estate transactions.
A new report from the research firm RealtyTrace shows that four Florida cities had the highest share of home sales in cash of any metro area in the nation in June.
Those metro areas were Homosassa Springs, Naples, Miami and Vero Beach.
Cash sales in those markets hovered in the 50 percent range. Nationwide, that figure is less than 25 percent.
The only non-Florida city approaching that level of cash sales was New York City.
