SARASOTA, Fla. (WTXL) -- It may sound much like "Goldilocks and the Three Bears", but the charges filed against a Central Florida man are no fairytale.

Sarasota County Sheriff's deputies arrested Dion Davis after breaking into a home and stealing jewelry. Only problem is, Dion allegedly never made it out of the home, instead falling asleep in a bed in the home.

Deputies say a maid went to clean the home when they found an open kitchen window and a man, later identified as Davis, sleeping on a bed. She then called 911.

Deputy J. Allen says Davis was in such a deep sleep he managed to snap a photo of him before waking him up and arresting him.

A bag of jewelry that Davis was allegedly trying to steal was also found near by.

Davis is charged with residential burglary.
