TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A bill that would've allowed guns in places of worship in Florida is off the table.
Senate Bill 1048 was filed by Republican Senator Dennis Baxley at the beginning of session.
The bill would've allowed people to concealed carry in churches, synagogues, and other religious institutions.
Both this bill and a related House bill have been indefinitely postponed and withdrawn from consideration.
