Flakka Use on the Rise in Valdosta

VALDOSTA, GA. (WTXL) - Valdosta Police are sending a warning to residents about the rise in the use of the drug Flakka in the city.

Flakka is synthetic and considered very dangerous. Police say, it can cause a heart attack and raise the temperature of the body to dangerous levels resulting in kidney damage and even death.

Symptoms of drug use include hallucinations, paranoia, bizarre/erratic behavior, stripping of clothes because of high body temperature and violent behavior to themselves or others.
