TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL)-- The victims of the Orlando Massacre are being honored on the front of the Florida Start Capitol for the next 49 days, one day for every person who was killed.
49 flags have been set in front of the capital Friday and will remain there utill the 49 days have passed. A name, age, and photo of every victim of the Orlando shooting is set under each flag to commemorate them and to show the capitols support.
Governor Rick Scott, Attorney General Pam Bondi, Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam, and Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater have each put yellow roses in front of the 49 flags.
