LARGO, Fla. (AP) - A southwest Florida woman has been arrested after police say she poured a bottle of muriatic acid onto a person's face.
Largo police said surveillance video shows 39-year-old Melissa Diane Egbert throw acid onto the unidentified victim's face, then jump into a car and drive off. Egbert was charged Sunday with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and is being held without bail. It's unclear whether she had retained an attorney.
The Tampa Bay Times (http://tinyurl.com/ma6csvj) reports the victim's condition was not released.
