TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Gov. Rick Scott activated 100 members of the Florida Air and Army National Guard on Tuesday to support preparations for potential impacts from Hurricane Irma.
The 100 will be stationed across the state and will advise Scott on available and needed resources, a news release said.
All 7,000 National Guard members will report for duty Friday morning, Scott said.
