JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Three children and two adults are in serious condition after a head-on crash in Jackson County.
The Florida Highway Patrol said that Jalessa Brown of Chipley was driving on Cloverdale Road on Tuesday around 5:30 p.m., when she was getting ready to turn left onto County Road 193.
Michelle Sloan, also from Chipley, was traveling south on County Road 193 at the time.
Troopers said that Brown failed to yield for Sloan during her turn, causing the fronts of the cars to collide.
After the crash, Sloan's car spun around clockwise, traveling onto a grass shoulder before the car overturned onto its roof.
All were transported to a nearby hospital for their injuries.
Brown faces charges of failing to yield at an intersection.
