TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Tallahassee residents will be able to dip in salsa and other types of Latin dance at the city's first-ever Latin Dance Festival.

The event will be held June 7-10 at the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center. This history making festival will be the first of what is expected to be an annual showcase for Latin dance and music performances and social dancing for the entire family. There will also be dance lessons and workshops for dancers on every level, from beginners to advanced.

“Dancing is not limited by age, ability, or language; it breaks all of society’s imaginary barriers,” said festival organizer Miriam Watkins.

Tickets start at $25 for night passes and $99 for three-day passes. With the three-day pass, you can select from more than 30 dance workshops. To purchase a pass, and to see a full schedule, visit www.tallylatindancefest.com.
