TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)- The First District Court of Appeals in Tallahasssee announces the court's next Chief Judge will be Judge L. Clayton Roberts.
Judge Roberts' two-year term will begin on July 1 and will become the 25th Chief Judge of the First District Court.
He will be succeeding the current Chief Judge, Joseph Lewis Jr.
The judges of the court also voted Judge Bradford Thomas as Chief Judge-elect.
