TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--The Tallahassee Fire Department is training now at the Tallahassee Regional Airport until Wednesday.
Firefighters will be training on an aircraft rescue and fire fighting trainer.
The training exercises can produce high intensity flames up to 30 feet in the air.
The trainer can simulate fires, stemming from a variety of causes.
Numerous emergency response vehicles will be on the scene for the exercises.
The Federal Aviation Administration requires all firefighters stationed in U.S. airports to attend this annual training.
