TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Firefighters said they responded to a report of a injured worker who fell off a ladder while performing maintenance at the City of Tallahassee's wastewater treatment facility.
The Tallahassee Fire Department said they were called out to the facility on Springhill Road at 7:16 a.m. on Thursday. Once they arrived, they found the injured worker.
The victim was treated and then transported by an ambulance to a nearby hospital. Firefighters said that the employee apparently fell from a ladder while working on maintenance.
No other injuries were reported.
