THOMASVILLE, GA (WTXL) - A fire in Thomasville was caused by a lightning strike according to Thomasville Fire Rescue.
The fire happened Tuesday afternoon on the corner of Lester Street and Bartow Street, says firefighters.
Thomasville Fire Rescue says there was only exterior damage to the home but that the electrical box was blown and there is no power for residents to return to.
