MITCHELL COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) - In south Georgia, a Mitchell County family is without a home after it caught fire Wednesday morning.
Fire fighters say the home on the 4700 block of Hall Lane was fully engulfed when crews arrived around 1:30 a.m.
Autry State Prison Fire Chief Michael Jones said the family was not home at the time.
It took about 30 minutes to get the fire under control.
The house is a complete loss.
