Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL)-- Employees of a water treatment plant in Tallahassee are evacuated after a fire starts in one of the silos.
The Tallahassee Fire Department was notified of the blaze around 5 o'clock Friday evening.
The water treatment plant is located near the Tallahassee Airport.
City of Tallahassee officials say the fire did not cause any hazards to the environment or threat in the area.
Officials say the fire was contained at the bottom of the fertilizer silo.
WTXL was notified the fire was out around 6:45 p.m. and no injuries were reported.
No word yet on the cause of the fire. Tallahassee Police are on scene to secure the area.
