TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Fire caused an estimated $150,000 in damage to a Mahan Drive house early Thursday, official said.
The Tallahassee Fire Department said no one was injured.
At 2:14 a.m. units from stations 1, 6, 9, and 16 responded to the report of a possible house fire at 4711 Mahan Drive, officials said in a news release.
The call came in by law enforcement who noticed flames coming from a structure.
Within eight minutes, crews arrived at the address and found a single-family residential structure fully involved with flames.
No one was believed to be inside the structure when it was on fire.
Mahan Drive had needed to be closed down due to hydrant access, but it is now open.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Tallahassee Fire Department and the State Fire Marshall.
