TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A fire at a local thrift store on Southside early Tuesday morning is now being investigated as an arson.
 
The Consolidated Dispatch Agency said that they received a report just before 5 a.m. on Tuesday from a passerby of a commercial building fire located at the Lighthouse Children’s Thrift store 2813 South Adams Street.
 
Firefighters arrived in minutes to an approximately 9,000 square foot single-story building engulfed in flames. They worked for several hours to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported from the scene. 
 
The cause and origin of the fire is being investigated by the Bureau of Fire and Arson Investigations and the Tallahassee Fire Department. The building is a total loss with damage estimates not yet determined.
