Tallahassee, FL (WTXL) -- October 6th is the deadline for voter registration in order to vote in the November 4th general election for Florida and Georgia.

Georgians with a valid driver's license can register to vote here.
There is also an app, GA Votes, that allows voter registration. The app also provides specific sample ballots, polling locations, voter registration status and can track absentee ballot information.
New technology helps the voting process. "The good new is that it is easier than ever to get registered to vote or to change your registration information" says Secretary of State Brian Kemp.
GA Votes app is available for both Apple and Android devices.
