TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--If you are heading out to the grocery store this week, consider picking up a few extra items to help a family in need.
On June 7 at the the Tallahassee Democrat, you can drop off non-perishable food.
It's all to benefit Second Harvest of the Big Bend.
Numbers from the food bank show more than 56,000 Leon County residents are food insecure. More than 11,000 of those are children.
