THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL)--Police in Thomasville are investigating a burglary, where they say 15 guns were stolen.
Shortly after 5:30 on Saturday morning, an officer was called out to Shepard's Bait and Tackle in reference to a burglary.
Police say the owner of the store told them he noticed a rear window air conditioning unit had been removed.
The owner was able to provide serial numbers for the 15 handguns stolen, including several .22 caliber and 9 mm weapons.
Police say more than $2,600 worth of jewelry was also taken, along with $100 in rolled-up change.
