UPDATE 11:00 p.m.: A Florida Highway Patrol trooper seriously injured in a multi-car crash is out of the hospital Monday night.
The crash happened on northbound Crawfordville Road, closing both northbound and southbound lanes to traffic around Highway 267 for six hours. Troopers were dispatched around 11:20 this afternoon.
According to FHP, a Chevy truck hit a Blue Bell ice cream truck head on, which caused a trooper behind the ice cream truck to veer off the road.
The trooper was the only one hurt in the crash. Officials say charges are pending
CRAWFORDVILLE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol and the Wakulla Sheriff's Office are investigating a crash on Crawfordville Highway.
The Wakulla Sheriff's Office said a FHP trooper vehicle and two other civilian cars were involved.
The traffic crash scene on Hwy 319 is cleared and both the north and south lanes are open.
FHP says that the trooper did sustain non-life threatening injuries. No one was fatally injured in the crash.
