(WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol this Monday is seeking an unknown driver who sped away after a stop for speeding and in doing so struck a trooper's holster.
Two troopers stopped a Nissan Altima for speeding on State Road 267 in Gadsden County at 1:29 a.m. Monday.
One trooper smelled marijuana while standing next to the driver's side.
The driver accelerated the vehicle, which struck a trooper's holster, and made a U-turn and fled away.
The trooper was not injured and his holster had no damage.
