JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating an accident where a driver left the scene of the crash.
It happened at just after 10 a.m. Friday. Officers still have not identified the driver of a 2015 Kia that ran off the road on US Hwy 98 WB, west of SR-59 in Jefferson County.
Troopers say the vehicle hit a tree and power pole before going airborne and landing in a ditch. The driver then left the scene and failed to report the crash.
FHP is asking anyone who might have seen the crash or have information about the driver to call them by dialing *FHP.
