SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol says a Kentucky man died in a car crash in Suwannee County Monday night that left a 19-year-old woman with serious injuries.
An FHP news release identified the man as Roger Husband Jr., 26, of Louisville, KY.
A passenger in the car, Kora Bott, 19, of Louisville, KY, received serious injuries and was taken to UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FHP said.
According to the FHP website, crews were dispatched to 89th Road and 212th Path in O'Brien just after 7:45 p.m. Monday.
The driver lost control of the car and it struck a tree near the roadway, FHP said.
