SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a single-car accident in Suwannee County that left a 27-year-old man dead.
Justin Wooddell, of Trenton, Fla., died from his injuries.
According to FHP, the single-car accident happened at about 1:35 a.m. Sunday on County Road 137.
FHP said Wooddell was driving north on County Road 137 when he began to approach a right curve.
FHP states Wooddell didn't clear the curve and drove onto the shoulder, where his car overturned, hitting a utility pole.
Wooddell was flown to the University of Florida Health Shands Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
According to FHP, at this time it is unknown if Wooddell was wearing a seatbelt or if alcohol played a factor in the accident.
