MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol says a hydroplaning semi truck crashed on I-10 Monday afternoon.

Troopers say the crash happened Monday afternoon on I-10 westbound near mile marker 192 (Midway exit.)

They say Walter Barker, 53, of Lake City was traveling westbound in the outside lane over the Ochlockonee River bridge. At some point, the truck hydroplaned, crashing into the westbound guardrail.

The truck kept going, crossing the grass median before crashing into a guard rail on the eastbound side on I-10.

Troopers say Barker wasn't injured, but he was cited with driving too fast in rainy conditions.

The eastbound side of I-10 was partially blocked for around an hour.
